726 a 250 YEAR OLD HORSE BARN
I helped restore a 250-year-old all stone Horse Barn in Penn Valley, PA purchased by the Colemans in 2019. It originally was restored in the 70’s, updated in the 90’s. The tile floors in the kitchen were a nice grey slate color. The kitchen was an expensive installation designed by a top-grade company. There were wood floors throughout the living area, and the family rooms had amble storage. In the living area a two-story window overlooking some of the picturesque 1.32 acres of gallant trees and plush bushes with flowers throughout. The pool needed to be restored. In the home was a working elevator that had a handicapped entrance was added near the garage entrance. There were also handicapped additions to the family room and some walls. This was a huge undertaking. I was asked to move into the home and take the game room. The game room smelled like mold and water flowed into the room with a ruined bathroom. In fact, everything in the room was ruined. As an architect, I took the deal.
